Second seed Maria Sharapova brushed aside compatriot Anna Chakvetadze 6-1, 6-4 saturday in 74 minutes to march into the fourth round.
The Maria Sharapova show will continue in the women's competition with the glamorous 18-year Wimbledon champion, who is after a second grand slam crown as well as the number one spot, facing either 13th seed Nathalie Dechy of France or Nuria LLagostera Vives of spain.
