Defending champions Maria Sharapova an Maria Kirilenko are out of the doubles at the DFS Classic after they
lost 4-6 0-6 to Marion Bartoli of Australia and Tamarine Tanasugarn of Venuzuela.
It was the first time Maria played doubles since Beijing in September last year.
Maria will now play her first grass match of 2005 on Tuesday against Anne Kremer of Luxembourg. It will be the third match on Centre Court and play begins at 11.00 GMT.
