Maria Sharapova is through to the quarter finals in Dubai after she defeated compatriot Vera Dushevina in exactly 1 hour 6-1 6-0. In the quarters which will be played tomorrow Maria will face Martina Hingis of Switzerland.
Maria played Hingis in Tokyo earlier this year and Hingis won in straight sets.
