Maria is through to the Pacific Life Open final at Indian Wells after defeating Martina Hingis of Switzerland 6-3 6-3 in 1 hour and 38 minutes.
In the final to be played on saturday (tomorrow) Maria will play either Elena Dementieva of Russia or Justine Henin-Hardenne of Belgium. This is Maria's 2nd final this year after losing the final in Dubai to canidate finalist Henin-Hardenne last month.
