Maria Teams Up to Support Charity

Tennisstars Maria Sharapova, Kim Clijsters, Justine Henin-Hardenne, Serena Williams, Jennifer Capriati, Amélie Mauresmo and many others have once again donated personal items to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

A unique collection of signed StarCards, photographs, shoes, outfits, rackets, and other special items will be available at a special auction at www.starcards.org. All proceeds will be going directly to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity. The hospital provides world-class specialist pediatric care, research, training, education and a continued commitment to sick children for generations to come. The auction starts Saturday, July 1, and ends Monday, July 10.

"We hope that tennis fans across the world will support us by bidding as much as possible," said StarCards representative Paul Brett. "We want to raise as much money as we can for the charity."
