Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova talks during a press conference in Istanbul

On Tuesday Maria will make her comeback from injury on a WTA drawsheet in Istanbul. Maria has been off the tour for nearly 2 months and this week is playing her one and only warm-up event before the 2nd Grand Slam of the year at�Roland Garros.

Maria will play Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria in the 2nd round of the Istanbul Cup.�Maria hasn't played Pironkova before.

I've been missing her game quite a lot as she's not been on court since May. Hopefully she'd be well-prepared for the Roland Garros this year, to breakthrough QF in 04 and 05, let alone Round 16 last year. Best wishes for her, no matter she wins the Istanbul Cup or not.
