Tennis player Maria Sharapova accepts the award for best international female athlete at the 2007 ESPY Awards.

Maria attended the ESPY Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California and won 'Best International Female Athlete'.  Congratulations Maria!   This is Maria's 2nd ESPY award having won 'Best Female Tennis Player' in 2005.

Maria also presented the the award for "Breakthrough Athlete" with actor Josh Duhamel and the award was won by NFL player Devin Hester.

NBA star LeBron James and comedian Jimmy Kimmel co-hosted the 15th annual show honoring the year's best sports moments and athletes at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre. It airs Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT on ESPN.

Enjoy Maria\'s taste in fashion, and she won the award for Best Female Tennis Player over Justine Henin, Jelena Jankovic, and Serena Williams (who was there). Notice that Venus was not nominated which didn\'t seem fair. Otherwise, it was an honor and hope she enjoyed it.
