As the final event of 2007 finished in Madrid last week, Maria will end the year fifth in the world rankings with 2956 points.
This is the 4th consecutive year that Maria has finished in the top 5.
Highlights of Maria's year includes winning the Acura Classic title in San Diego, reaching the semis at Roland Garros, reaching the final at the Australian Open and the final at last week's WTA Championships in Madrid.

That day is not far when your services will reach 200 kph and more.In Madrid, you had played brillianty.In your last match you entered with too much ewspect towards the Belgium girl.Sincerelly,she did not impressed me.I think that repect is the main reason of defeat.The pause to AO use in the best way.I had read on Russian site that you would in the next season be able to serve 120mph(over 193 kph).That is an excellent news.I believe in stronger services as well.Your play is fantastic.In 2008 and further years all will fear with Masha in front of them.
