No problems at all for Maria as she crushed Venus Williams 3-6, 4-6 today in 75 minutes in her second match in Zurich, she will play her next match against first seeded Elena Dementieva of Russia.


Maria was playing with supreme confidence, it's amazing to se here growing in this tournament.

In the quaters Maria will play Venus Williams of the United States. Maria has never played Venus Williams in a WTA event before.



Williams reached the quaters after she defeated the 16 year old Ana Ivanovic in 2 sets: 7-6, 7-6.
